ORANGE CHEST
I fell in love with this even though it was plain white and was the newer style of mass-produced/disposable furniture. It was always talked about in the shop - usually along with the words, “can we throw this out now?” But I argued to keep it and luckily I won! I liked the clean lines and its compact size. It’s light weight and easy to maneuver up and down steps and in small spaces. I knew this could truly be appreciated by someone who might be limited on space, but not on their sense of style. The front of the piece is decoupaged in handmade fuchsia and gold paper. Vibrant orange chalk paint is highlighted with fuchsia glaze. The new/repurposed hardware completes the classy, unconventional look.
