MID CENTURY MODERN HUTCH

Here is an iconic Johnson Carper Midcentury modern with a slight twist. For this hutch, I decided on a deep stain and multiple coats of polyurethane to bring out the richness of its original finish. I was thrilled to find the decorative doors still in tact, tucked away in one of the drawers. A cityscaped backdrop was added behind the shelves to update the look for a modern loft feel. I was looking for a statement look without sacrificing its classic, inherent beauty.
